8 D.O.W.N. Scholarship
2021 marked the creation of the 8 D.O.W.N. Scholarship. The scholarship was created through the collaboration of the DP Foundation and the members of 8 D.O.W.N. as a way to give back to the undergraduate Brothers of Delta Pi.
With the rising costs of college education, we wanted to do our part to help those in need, that are following in our collective footsteps. As we strive to do our best in setting the example of helping our own, we encourage others to join us in giving back to the place that played a significant role in our undergraduate and professional development.
Overview
“The 8 D.O.W.N. Scholarship is designed to provide financial assistance to deserving undergraduate Brothers of the Delta Pi Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., who demonstrate financial need.”
Scholarship Provisions
The 8 D.O.W.N. scholarship will award:
(1) $1200 scholarship per academic year or
(2) $600 scholarships per academic year
Requirements
The applicant(s) must:
- Be currently enrolled and in good academic standing at Michigan State University.
- Be actively participating in Delta Pi Chapter activities.
- Be actively participating in fraternity, campus and community activities.
- Submit a letter stating what the applicant has personally done to maintain and promote the integrity of Kappa Alpha Psi on the campus of Michigan State University.
